Spring 2024 Baseball Season

The Miracle League North Bay is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving athletes with special needs the opportunity to play baseball. However, we are so much more than baseball. Our athletes do not need any level of experience to join our league, baseball is merely a catalyst to create a lasting community. We encourage our athletes to play the game, but we also love to support them in simply socializing and creating connections with other participants on game days. We always offer a multitude of activities to ensure all of our athletes have something of interest to enjoy. Our athletes are encouraged to enjoy bubbles, coloring, dancing, group parachute, our incredible playground, as well as the game of baseball.

Rising Stars:

On opening day, April 27th, we are inviting players who are 5 and under to come experience the magic of Miracle League. From 10:30 - 11:00, we welcome our littlest Miracle League athletes onto the field to get a feel for our magic first hand. Each athlete will get the chance to have an at bat, assisted by one of our buddies and a current Miracle League player. We hope to give our rising stars a glimpse of how fun MLNB game days are! They will be encouraged to play/learn the game of baseball, as well as create social connections. Please arrive at 10:00am to get checked in, and watch some MLNB baseball before it's your time to shine! 

Buddies: 

Our Buddy system pairs each player with a volunteer helper that remains with them for the duration of the game. The buddy is there to protect the player from balls, assist the player in batting and running the bases (if needed), and to be a friend on and off the field. Buddies are responsible for their individual player from the time of introduction until the player is back in the care of their parent/guardian. This means that no matter where their player goes the buddy must go. Buddies need to be energetic, committed and enthusiastic for each game. Buddies do not need to have any knowledge or skills related to baseball. We ask that all buddy-members be at least 12 years old. We ask that our buddies be available for both games each Saturday. 

Game Day Sponsors:

Throughout our season we look for 1-2 organizations to sponsor each game day. Sponsoring a game day entails supplying 10 or more volunteers to support our athletes on the field for both games on a specific game day. (Please note we ask that volunteers be 12yrs or older.) If your organization is interested in sponsoring a game day (or two), please register your primary contact and our team will be intouch with you shortly to get your organization on the schedule.  We promise it's the best way to spend a Saturday! 

Jugadores:

La Liga Milagro North Bay es una organización sin fines de lucro dedicada a brindar a los atletas con necesidades especiales la oportunidad de jugar béisbol. Sin embargo, somos mucho más que béisbol. Nuestros atletas no necesitan experiencia previa para unirse a nuestra liga, el béisbol es simplemente un catalizador para crear una comunidad duradera. Animamos a nuestros atletas a jugar el juego, pero también nos encanta apoyarlos en socializar y crear conexiones con otros participantes en los días de juego. Siempre ofrecemos una multitud de actividades para asegurarnos de que todos nuestros atletas tengan algo interesante para disfrutar. Animamos a nuestros atletas a disfrutar de burbujas, colorear, bailar, el paracaídas grupal, nuestro increíble parque infantil, además del juego de béisbol.

Estrellas en Ascenso:

En el día de inauguración, el 27 de abril, invitamos a jugadores de 5 años o menos a experimentar la magia de la Liga Milagro. De 10:30 a 11:00, damos la bienvenida a nuestros pequeños atletas de la Liga Milagro al campo para que experimenten nuestra magia de primera mano. Cada jugador tendrá la oportunidad de batear, con la ayuda de uno de nuestros amigos y un jugador actual de la Liga Milagro. ¡Esperamos brindarles a nuestras estrellas en ascenso un vistazo de lo divertidos que son los días de juego de MLNB! ¡Serán alentados a jugar/aprender el juego de béisbol, así como a crear conexiones sociales! Por favor, llega a las 10:00 a. m. para registrarte y ver un poco de béisbol de MLNB antes de que llegue tu momento de brillar.

Acompañantes:

Nuestro sistema de Acompañantes empareja a cada jugador con un voluntario que lo ayuda durante toda la duración del juego. El acompañante está ahí para proteger al jugador de las pelotas, ayudarlo en batear y correr las bases (si es necesario) y ser un amigo dentro y fuera del campo. Los acompañantes son responsables de su jugador desde el momento de la presentación hasta que el jugador vuelva al cuidado de su padre/madre o tutor. Esto significa que el acompañante debe seguir a su jugador sin importar a dónde vaya. Los acompañantes deben ser enérgicos, comprometidos y entusiastas en cada juego. No necesitan tener conocimientos ni habilidades relacionadas con el béisbol. Pedimos que todos los acompañantes sean mayores de 12 años y que estén disponibles para ambos juegos cada sábado.

Patrocinadores del Día del Partido:

A lo largo de nuestra temporada, buscamos de 1 a 2 organizaciones para patrocinar cada día de partido. Patrocinar un día de partido implica proporcionar 10 o más voluntarios para apoyar a nuestros atletas en el campo durante ambos juegos en un día de partido específico. (Tenga en cuenta que pedimos que los voluntarios tengan 12 años o más). Si su organización está interesada en patrocinar un día de partido (o dos), por favor, registre su contacto principal y nuestro equipo se pondrá en contacto con usted pronto para incluir a su organización en el programa. ¡Le garantizamos que es la mejor manera de pasar un sábado!

Games: 9:30am and 11:00am 

Players who register prior to April 1st are guaranteed a jersey on opening day.
